This week, I have the pleasure of interviewing… myself. I have been an editor at Content Runner since the very beginning and I couldn’t be prouder to work for such a dedicated and expanding  company. Read on to learn more about… me and my insatiable thirst for knowledge, travel and Red Bull.

About Me.
My name is Nathalie and I am an editor/ blog contributor/ awesome sauce chef over here at Content Runner. I’ve been a proud resident of Seattle for more than 13 years, but I’m getting ready to start a new chapter in my life in San Francisco later this month! Don’t worry, I won’t be going over to the darkside… Go Hawks!

What made me decide to choose Content Runner?
First and foremost, I love the team. They’re a fun bunch that never get discouraged regardless how much work there is to do or how late it is. Second, I love the work and I love that the company is constantly evolving to make things more efficient and user-friendly.

What do I love about editing and writing?
I’m a bit of a perfectionist when it comes writing, so I get great deal of satisfaction from correcting my own writing and the writing of others. I love when language and rules combine  to create succinct, decipherable text.

When I’m not editing content for Content Runner, what in the world am I doing?
When I’m not crossing the t’s and dotting the lower-case j’s, you can find me mountaineering in the backcountry of the PNW; running long-distance somewhere in Seattle or finding new micro-brews to sample.

How did I get into editing?
I’ve always known I wanted to go into editing and writing, so I majored in English even though everyone I talked to promised me I would be unemployable. When I found Content Runner, I found an opportunity to do the 2 things I love to do and prove all the haters wrong at the same time.

CaffeineIf I could go anywhere, where would I go?
This list is so long, I can only hope there’s enough time to do it all. My top 5 (in no particular order) are as follows:
1. Greece to get my marathon on.
2. New Zealand so I can zorb until I’m sick.
3. The Maldives to stalk the whale sharks.
4.Australia so I can walkabout.
5. England, France, Switzerland and Italy for my grand adventure.

If I had to eat one food for the rest of your life what would it be?
Caffeine.

If I wasn’t a professional editor, what would I be?
Professional Tree Climber / Amateur Crime Fighter

What is my biggest grammatical pet peeve?
Being not able to differentiate “They’re”, “There” and “Their”. Also, “You’re” and “Your”.

What is my favorite type of article/subject to review?
Adventure, Food and Travel.
