What do you look for in content writers?
It depends on how depth of an article/writing assignment I am looking for. If I am looking for general articles (basic research and varied subjects), then I am looking for a well-rounded writer who has experience writing in a variety of niches. If I am looking for a specific writer in say “finance/stocks”, then I would like to have someone write the article/content piece who has in-depth experience in writing for finance.

Is there any advice you can give to Writers who take your assignments?
Sure, here are a few pieces of advice:

1) Propose a better title to me:  I generally give them a title, but it is always great when a writer proposes 2 or 3 new catchy-titles I can use for the assignment. Coming up with a powerful attention-grabbing title is very important.

2) Provide resources at the end of the article:  When a writer does research for an article, I appreciate it when they include a resource section at the end of the article. This helps me to know which resources they used and where I can go to find out more info.

3) Create a creative and powerful intro paragraph:  I appreciate it when writers create a unique, catchy and engaging opening paragraph that sets up the entire article. The opening paragraph not only sets up the entire article’s premise but entices the reader to continue reading the story and increases the engagement metric.

What types of writing projects do you need the most help with?
There are a few types of writing-projects that I use Content Runner for: 1) Research articles: in-depth research articles on a variety of topics that my client niches are in, such as: finance/stocks, mortgages, health & medical field, real estate and others. 2) Press releases: writing newsworthy PR’s & engaging content 3) Ghost writing:  Taking on the persona of the site-owner (could be in – real estate, mortgages, etc..) and writing articles for their site. The site owner always double-checks/edits the article for accuracy.

What do you currently struggle most with when it comes to creating content?
Coming up with some great ideas that are both timely/fresh and unique to the niche I am writing about.

What do you like best about Content Runner?
It’s great to have a content-management marketplace where I can come up with a quick outline and then have a professional writer create the article/content piece for me at a reasonable rate.

If you could change one thing about Content Runner what would you change?
Content Runner has an idea engine, which is great. You can enter a topic and it will provide you with options for a new title. In addition to this, it would be great if there was a creative writer who can spend an hour or so to help come with some more creative ideas revolving around the niche I am writing about.

If you could eat one food for the rest of your life, what would it be?
Hmmm. How about instead of one food item, I go with one restaurant. I would go with the Bellagio buffet in Las Vegas then. If I want to eat light, I could go with a salad or if I am in the mood for seafood, I can go with king crab legs. But, if its one-food item I would be with a Gyro sandwich. Off to my local pita joint now!
