What made you decide to choose Content Runner?
I chose Content Runner because the article assignments are so diverse. With Content Runner, I can enjoy my career while staying fresh and continually learning new things.
What do you love about writing?
I love writing because I can express myself fully without worrying about offending anyone. While writing, I can let my thoughts flow and then go back and change things later if I need to. I feel completely free when I write.
When you aren’t writing content for Content Runner, what do you do in your spare time?
I am a busy mom with two teenagers and two mastiffs. I play keyboard, violin, paint, and bake regularly. I love to hike, roller-blade, and bike. I manage a resort spa a few days a week, so this keeps me current on fashion-trends, business, and marketing.
How did you get into writing?
I have been writing ever since I was little. I started when I was five writing stories for the church paper. I have continued writing just for fun all of my life.
If you could go anywhere, where would you go?
If I could go anywhere I would sail around the world. I would definitely go to Alaska, Egypt, India, Norway, Peru, Scotland, and Singapore on my epic sailing adventure.
If you had to eat one food for the rest of your life what would it be?
I try new foods every week, so eating just one food for the rest of my life would be difficult. If I had to chose, it would be applesauce because that is my comfort food of choice!
If you weren’t a professional writer, what would you be?
If I wasn’t a professional writer, I would be a professional photographer because I love sharing the way I frame the world.
What is your biggest grammatical pet peeve?
My biggest grammatical pet peeve is confusing their and they’re. Once that error comes up the piece has no credibility.
What is your favorite subject to write about?
My favorite subject to write about is marketing. I hardly have to research to come up with a good marketing piece. It’s easy to pull from my experience and education to just let the words flow.
