Offerings—a fun way to get more jobs in the areas in which you, as a Writer, specialize! For Users, this may be a place to find new or interesting writing projects that you haven’t thought of purchasing, but could be a great value-add for your content needs.
Writers familiar with posting Offerings know that you can create up to four detailed descriptions of what content skills you have to offer, and how much you charge for those services. What you may not realize is that aside from the more technical specializations, your skills could come in handy with drafting social media posts for those who don’t have time to schedule their own feeds.
Are you a top dog of Twitter? A fanatic Facebook-er? A lion of LinkedIn? Post an Offering touting your skills! Here’s a step-by-step look at how to post a social media Offering:
Step 1:
If you aren’t already familiar with the Offerings section of our page, head to your dashboard and click on “Offerings.”
Step 2:
Select “Create New.” Make sure you don’t already have four Offerings posted, since that is the maximum amount you can post. (Tip: If you notice one of your Offerings hasn’t been purchased, review and edit the posting to add more information that could entice Users to request it).
Step 3:
Fill out the fields with as much detail as possible. Make sure you list if you are more proficient at one social media site than another, or if you can do a variety of posts. The key here is to be as descriptive as possible! Select the “Other” category and then pick “Content Marketing,” for the Niche area.
Users take note: this is where you will be able to find social media Offerings.
Step 4:
Again, detail is your friend. Since social media is your specialty, list exactly what you need from Users in order to complete these posts. Users, make sure to read through this so that you can give your Writer the adequate tools to complete the task.
Step 5:
Hit the “save offering” button and your Offering is live! You can also promote your Offering on Twitter and via email.
