Content Runner has a variety of features set in place specifically to make your life easier! Did you know that you are able to upload multiple articles at once using our handy CSV form? Are you using filters to sort through all of the articles writers are working on or have submitted to you for review?
Let’s go over a few of our tools that can make any User an efficient project manager on Content Runner:
Uploading Multiple Articles
When looking at your dashboard, you are probably used to seeing the “Post Your Order” button. Click on that, and once you get to step 2, you will see a button that says “Download CSV Template.”
This is a spreadsheet where you can input the information for multiple orders. This saves you time, so you don’t have to upload article orders one by one. It allows you to simultaneously post open and direct orders, or to a specific pool, like Writers with a rating of three stars or higher.
Multiple people can contribute to this spreadsheet, so if you have multiple departments/groups that need content, it can be uploaded and posted all at once.
Filtering Your Dashboard
Also on your dashboard is the feature to filter your orders by Writer, the purpose and the request status. You can hide completed orders, check in on a specific Writer’s progress on a project or just view the articles that have been “Submitted for Review.” If you have a large quantity of orders, this can minimize your time spent scrolling through trying to check the status of a specific project.
Favorites and Writer Pools
As mentioned earlier, you can submit orders directly to the site-wide favorites list or your own list, as well as Writer pools. If you are uploading a more complex project and you only want a certain group to have access to completing that order, you can keep an active favorites list of your own, send to the site-wide favorites selected by the Content Runner Team or to Writers that have a certain star rating and above.
To create a favorites list or pool, click on the Writers tab on your dashboard. Underneath the list of all your Writers, next to the “View Writer Directory” button, there is a box labeled “Writer Pools.” Click the pencil icon, and you can create an entirely new pool, favorites list or add a writer to an existing list. You can create as many pools as you would like, and organize them for specific tasks such as press releases or social media posts. If you upload an order to a Writer pool, only those writers can view the order. So if you don’t have time to track down a Writer to request a direct order, you can still ensure that only specific Writers have access to these orders.
As always, if you have any questions about these features or anything else about Content Runner, shoot us an email. We love to hear/read your feedback!
